I love Sueno!! The first time I came here was on Cinco De Mayo for happy hour and I haven't stopped visiting since. Their happy hour menu is one of the best in the city IMO. They have amazing Margaritas with a variety of flavors to choose from and a robust food menu. We hadn't planned on visiting but ended up here since they had tables available. The restaurant is decorated in a fun festive manner. It is pretty spacious with two levels to enjoy the ambiance in. Service is always good and it's always a great place for a larger group. Reservations are a good idea for weekends.
Food was great and excellent vibe if you want a party feel and good food. Shrimp taco with sauce was delicious and so was the queso and drinks Service was very slow, got asked for drinks and right away food, kept coming back for orders quick but also didn't ask for refill of drinks or chips so timing was way off. I'd hope for a better server but if not I won't go back. Tip was auto added for just 5 of us which I found odd?
Really neat place with a unique layout. Stopped here while in Philly for work and wanted to walk around downtown for a little. We stopped here for a quick drink and food. Honestly it was the middle of the day and not too many people out at the time but their service and team was amazing. Not being from the area they let us talk about different things to do in the area. Very friendly people! They have a happy hour with $2 tacos and well drinks. I got some carnitas and a vodka cranberry. With a host sauce bar. I smashed the taco. They were perfect from size to flavor. If you live or work near here stop in for this deal. Ended up wearing my Steelers hoodie and the cook in the back noticed and bought me a shot. Steelers fan run deep everywhere!
So yummy. I've can to happy hour here three times. They've never been super busy. Service is good. Food is very yummy. Prices are good. The ambience is fun.
I got the chicken al pastor tacos delivered and they arrived fast and hot! They were messy in the way that one would hope and expect from al pastor tacos. They were kind of pricy, but really good!
